Swinton Lodge is an impressive purpose built residence standing in pleasant and secluded grounds, near to the centre of the South Yorkshire town of Swinton, being very conveniently situated for Mexborough and the large centres of Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield, and Barnsley. We are centrally located for all local amenities, and have excellent train and bus services close at hand. The two storey building is homely and well maintained offering secure and spacious accommodation.

QUALITY CARE

Swinton Lodge has 63 single on-suite bedrooms, we cater for Nursing, Residential, EMI and Specialist Care clients.
Each resident benefits from our care assessment process which determines individual care needs on an ongoing basis, Qualified nursing staff and trained carers are on duty 24 hours per day and prescribed medication is retained, monitored and dispensed by our qualified nursing staff.

THE HOME

Apart from the single en-suite rooms, further large bedrooms are available to accommodate couples if required. Corridors are wide for ease of mobility and wheelchair access, and there is a lift in the building. For added comfort there are numerous aids for the benefit of residents and a call bell system is linked to all rooms.
All our main lounges are designed to provide a comfortable, homely atmosphere and have televisions, there are also television points in each bedroom.
A wide range of functions, social activities and external trips are arranged throughout the year and we invite family and friends to participate in these activities as much as possible.
